G.D. Vajra is one of the most important wineries in the Langhe, and has always been closely linked to its traditions and the territory to which it belongs, establishing itself over time with products of the highest quality. Located in Vergne, in the village of Barolo, the company produces wines with a strong identity, expressing the most typical grape varieties of the area, first and foremost Barolo, but also Freisa, Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba and Dolcetto d’Alba. Founded in 1972 by Aldo Vajra, the company was a pioneer in organic farming as early as the 1970s. Dynamic and innovative, it is a family-run business that sees two generations working side by side to produce excellent wines, capable of expressing like few others the best oenological essence of the Piedmontese lands.
